IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL WKGB LTD MEMBERS Due to clashes of dates in calendars the WKGB Ltd Conference, originally planned for Saturday 12th July , has been re-scheduled and will now be held on Saturday 27th September at the same location i.e. Manor Parc Hotel, Thornhills, Cardiff. Please advise the Administration Officer of your availability to attend.

Urgent Notification

Owing to the current situation in England, any association with them at the present time may lead to a breach of World Karate Federation statues and therefore disciplinary action.

WGKB Ltd members should not participate, under any circumstances whatsoever, in the BKF Championships, to be held on 6th October 2007 in Sheffield.

I have been in communication with the British Karate Federation Chairman and the national governing bodies of Scotland and Northern Ireland, who are also withdrawing from any participation in the British Karate Federation championships.

Excuses will not be accepted for any WKGB Ltd members failing to comply with this notification.

NOTICE TO GENERAL PUBLIC

The Welsh Karate Governing Body has had enquiries relating to the activities of a Mr Matt Fiddes and his martial arts classes.  The WKGB has no knowledge of Mr Fiddes either directly or indirectly and states categorically that he is not registered or involved in any way with the WKGB. 

The WKGB understands that Mr Fiddes alleges to have a background in either Tae Kwon Do or kickboxing or both.  These particular martial arts do not come under WKGB governance and accordingly the WKGB cannot make any further comment on these activities.
